Modernization & efficiency for small business

Modern tools. Old‑fashioned work ethic.

We help shops, trades, and family businesses cut the busywork, get more out of the tech they already pay for, and get found by the customers down the street. Plain English, flat quotes, and we do the setup ourselves.

What we do

Tech tune‑up

We look at what you already pay for — point of sale, QuickBooks, scheduling, the website — and make it earn its keep. Most businesses use half of what they're billed for.

Cut the busywork

Invoices, follow‑ups, reminders, inventory counts. The paperwork that eats your evenings can mostly run itself. We set it up, test it, and show you exactly how it works.

Get found, get chosen

A clean website, reviews that work for you, and showing up when locals search. The growth basics, done right, without an agency retainer.

Training that sticks

We don't drop a binder on the counter and leave. We train your people on the tools in plain English, write it down, and stay reachable after.

How it works

1

The walkthrough

About an hour, free, on site or on a call. You show us how the business runs today — what's slow, what's annoying, what you're paying for.

2

The punch list

You get a one‑page, plain‑English list of fixes, ordered by payoff, with a flat quote for each. No retainer, no surprises. Keep it even if you never call us back.

3

The work

We roll up our sleeves and do it — setup, migration, testing, training. You approve each item before we start and pay when it works.

Why “Elbow Grease”

Because none of this works without someone rolling up their sleeves. Software doesn't fix a business; people who understand the business and put in the hours do.

We're not here to sell you a platform. We're here to make the tools you already have work harder — and when something new genuinely pays for itself, we'll show you the math first.

Who we are

Kevin Krause

The tools guy

Kevin has spent his career building software and developer tools, most recently at StackBlitz. He's the one who gets under the hood: systems, integrations, automation, and making stubborn software behave.

John Latham, MBA

The business guy

John brings the operator's eye: operations, numbers, and strategy. He makes sure every fix we recommend pays for itself on the P&L, not just on paper.
